Every person should have a good, safe, affordable place to live–no matter what. As a beloved community, we have a responsibility to make it so if we want our families and neighbors to thrive. Annual Meeting: We’re Celebrating You!

  On Monday, December 16, 2019, Faith in Texas will host a dinner and celebration honoring YOU, our most appreciated family of dedicated, hardworking volunteers, leaders, clergy, and donors! We will hear directly from leaders on their moving work, celebrate our collective accomplishments, look ahead to our key focuses and goals for 2020, and, most importantly, relax and fellowship together one last time in this decade! Thank you for your enduring commitment to justice and to our faithful movement. Kids are welcome and encouraged, we have fun activities planned with Seeds to Stem! Justice Action NOW! Planning Workshop

2020  will be a TERRIFIC year of action and milestones for the Faith in Texas Justice Team. We invite all Horizon members who are interested in housing, immigration, and voter engagement, to join us as we set our 2020 goals. These goals will intentionally center those in our Horizon community with the greatest needs. Let Our People Go: Saving the Lives of Incarcerated People During COVID-19

Join our town-hall to learn: Why is emptying the jail crucial to public health and safety? How are the courts operating in this crisis? What are conditions like in the jail? What are your public officials doing to save the members of our community trapped inside the jail?   Purpose: to let our community know how the courts are operating during the COVID-19 crisis, why jails pose a unique threat, and what our community can do to save the lives of people trapped in the jail. Outcome: to take action by demanding our public officials act NOW to save the lives of people in our community who are being abandoned in jail!
