Faith in Texas – Organizer Office Hours

Zoom

Are you curious to hear how we are confronting mass incarceration and making our budget a more moral document in Dallas County? Are you wondering what it looks like to organize faith communities in Texas to pursue racial, social, and economic justice? Do you want to just talk justice theology? Then Join Rev. Murray, Joe Swanson, and Dr. Ben Robinson for Organizer Office Hours where we build community and put our faith into action!

Dallas County Budget Vote

Zoom

We need our folks to register to speak so we can push for a budget that invests less in the incarceration of our members and neighbors and starts investing that money in community needs. So you're feeling like you should speak but you're not sure what to say? Check out our Advocacy Tool to walk you through building your testimony step by step.

Budget Vote Debrief

Zoom

At this point the County will have passed the County Budget for 2022. We are going to get together to take inventory of what was passed and our impact. We'll celebrate the wins and strategize on what's next! All are welcome! Join us to celebrate, strategize, or just listen in!
