SAADIA AHMED
Saadia Ahmed graduated in International Studies from Austin College where she intensified her commitment to serving the community. She is a community and thought leader in Dallas/Fort Worth in addition to being the founder and adviser to numerous nonprofit and community initiatives.
Saadia was awarded the “Trailblazer” award by Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation and “Community Leader of the Year” award by CAIR D/FW. She was also the first recipient of Radio Azad’s “Unsung Hero” recognition. She is the Co-founder and Executive Director of the Gem Advisers High School Mentorship Program and the Director of Youth Programs at the Texas Muslim Women’s Foundation.
Saadia’s passions include youth leadership development, women’s empowerment, and mentorship programs. Her professional expertise are in event planning, social media optimization, individual major giving, and annual fund development for nonprofits. Saadia has been published in the Association of Fundraising Professionals Journal and presented at their national conference among many other professional conferences for nonprofit leaders nationwide.
